The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Robert Lee Spargo (Age 42 of Fontana) for the attempted murder of Marlen Munoz in San Bernardino.
CASE SYNOPSIS
On Tuesday, October 13, 2020, the San Bernardino Police Department responded to an incident involving a vehicle crashing into a fruit vendor cart in the area of Frontage Road and Highland Avenue in San Bernardino. Ms. Marlen Munoz suffered significant injuries. During the investigation, Mr. Spargo was arrested.
After reviewing this case, our office has charged Mr. Spargo with violation of the following section of the California Penal Code:
Penal Code Section 664/187(a) – Attempted Murder (Felony)
Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being, or a fetus, with malice aforethought.
