VICTIM ADVOCATES

Answering the call to be there for victims and witnesses are members of the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office’ Victim Advocates.

Victim advocates are trained professionals who provide support to victims and witnesses of crimes. This support can be in the form of emotional support, providing victims’ rights information, finding and providing resources such as shelter and victim compensation, and more.

Many times, our victim advocates accompany victims and witnesses to court appearances, appointments with deputy district attorneys, and other criminal justice related proceedings.

Carefully selected from pools of applicants, our office only retains the highest quality victim advocates in the profession. Our commitment to quality of compassion is foremost over all other considerations.
