The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Domonic Christen Lewis (Age 36) for possessing multiple people’s identifications and other crimes in Rancho Cucamonga.


CASE SYNOPSIS

On Saturday, February 6, 2021, deputies from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department responded to the 10000 block of Stallion Way in Rancho Cucamonga regarding a burglary in progress. During the investigation, Domonic Christen Lewis was arrested.

After reviewing this case, our office has filed charges against Mr. Lewis for violating the following sections of the California Penal Code:

Penal Code Section 530.5(c)(3) – Multiple Identifying Information Theft (Felony)
 Every person who, with the intent to defraud, acquires or retains possession of the personal identifying information, as defined in subdivision (b) of Section 530.55, of 10 or more other persons is guilty of a public offense, and upon conviction therefor, shall be punished by a fine, by imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed one year, or by both a fine and imprisonment, or by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170.

Penal Code Section 22210 – Possession Of A Billy, Blackjack, Etc (Felony)
Except as provided in Section 22215 and Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 17700) of Division 2 of Title 2, any person in this state who manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, lends, or possesses any leaded cane, or any instrument or weapon of the kind commonly known as a billy, blackjack, sandbag, sandclub, sap, or slungshot, is punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year or imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170.

Penal Code Section 22810(a) – Possessing Or Purchasing Tear Gas After Conviction For A Felony, Assault Or Misuse Of Tear Gas (Misdemeanor)
No person convicted of a felony or any crime involving an assault under the laws of the United States, the State of California, or any other state, government, or country, or convicted of misuse of tear gas under subdivision (g), shall purchase, possess, or use tear gas or any tear gas weapon.
