SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY – On November 29, 2022, our Office filed one felony charge against Fidel Ocamporodarte (25) of Twin Peaks. It is alleged Ocamporodarte, an off-duty officer with San Bernardino Police Department, discharged a firearm into the air, outside of a bar in Twin Peaks, Ca.
After review of the evidence, San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed the following felony charge against Fidel Ocamporodarte:
- PC246.3(a) – Discharge of a Firearm with Gross Negligence
The role of the District Attorney’s Office is to pursue justice, while holding accountable those who choose to violate the law regardless of position, race, gender or status. In review of this case for filing, our Office received immediate cooperation from the San Bernardino Police Department and a swift and thorough investigation from San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Ocamporodarte was arrested and released on bail. He is scheduled for arraignment January 10, 2023 at San Bernardino County Superior Court.
