SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – On Aug. 30, 2021, the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office filed charges against David Arthur Riden (52), an assistant football coach at Los Osos High School.
A complaint has been filed against Riden for charges including one felony count of possession of child or youth pornography (PC 311.11), and two felony counts of using a minor for sex acts (PC311.4).
If convicted, all these offenses will require David Riden to register as a sex offender pursuant to Penal Code 290.
While further charges are still under investigation, our Bureau of Victim Services has already contacted Los Osos High School, to ensure that all current and additional victims of this crime have access to mental health resources as well as support navigating therapists and the court system.
San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office will be working closely with investigators from San Bernardino County Sheriff and Los Osos High School to ensure that all victims are identified and assigned a victim advocate.
Riden is set for video arraignment Aug 31, 2021 at Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court.
