The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed three counts of arson against Bryan Uriel Guzman (Age 27 of Riverside).

CASE SYNOPSIS

On Wednesday, June 10, 2020, the Fontana Police Department and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to Jurupa Hills Area near Martin Tudor Park (11660 Sierra Avenue) regarding brush and telecommunications towers on fire.

An investigation was initiated. On Thursday, June 11, 2020, Bryan Uriel Guzman was arrested.

After a review of this case, our office has filed three counts for violation of the following section of the California Penal Code, against Guzman:

Penal Code Section 451(c) – Arson of A Structure or Forest
A person is guilty of arson when he or she willfully and maliciously sets fire to or burns or causes to be burned or who aids, counsels, or procures the burning of, any structure, forest land, or property.
(c) Arson of a structure or forest land is a felony punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for two, four, or six years.
