With a rich legal background and years of professional expertise, Deputy District Attorney Adrienne Mendoza proudly joins the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.

A San Bernardino County native, Adrienne Mendoza grew up in Alta Loma, California.  Adrienne attended Cal Poly Pomona University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy with an emphasis in Law and Society.  While in college, she fell in love with the art of trial advocacy.  Adrienne competed on the Mock Trial Team and became President of the Mock Trial Association.  Here is where Adrienne knew she would become a trial attorney and use her voice for the voiceless.

Deputy District Attorney Adrienne Mendoza was sworn in on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 by District Attorney Jason Anderson.

Adrienne attended the University of La Verne, College of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctorate in 2013.  While in law school, Adrienne received C.A.L.I. Awards for earning the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy and Criminal Procedure: Pre-Trial, Trial, and Sentencing classes.  Adrienne was a member of the Trial Advocacy Team where she worked with inspiring and extremely bright teammates who would eventually end up District Attorney colleagues.

After passing the bar, Adrienne received an offer from the best Public Defender’s Office in the State of California.  At this office, Adrienne worked with great mentors who taught her how to think critically, argue strategically, and maintain professionalism while building rapport with clients and opposing counsel.  As a former Public Defender, Adrienne brings a unique and well-rounded perspective of the criminal justice system to the District Attorney’s office.

This unique perspective enables me to prosecute cases with the utmost integrity, honesty, and transparency in the pursuit of justice for all.”

Prior to coming to the District Attorney’s office, Adrienne was a Deputy City Prosecutor where she prosecuted crime that occurred within the City of Anaheim.  Adrienne has conducted numerous jury trials as a prosecutor and defense attorney. Being a prosecutor is an honor and a privilege that Adrienne does not take for granted.  Everyday as she walks into court, she reminds herself that helping one person might not change the whole world, but it could change the whole world for one person.

Adrienne is proud to serve and protect her hometown community, and to pursue justice for victims and the people of County of San Bernardino.
