The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Lame Donshanell Love (Age 22 of Hanford, California) for pimping and other crimes in San Bernardino.


On Thursday, April 22, 2021, officers from the San Bernardino Police Department conducted a traffic enforcement stop near downtown San Bernardino. During the investigation, Lame Donshanell Love was arrested.

After reviewing this case, our office has filed charges against Mr. Love for violating the following sections of the California Penal Code:

Penal Code Section 266h(a) – Pimping (Felony)
Except as provided in subdivision (b), any person who, knowing another person is a prostitute, lives or derives support or maintenance in whole or in part from the earnings or proceeds of the person’s prostitution, or from money loaned or advanced to or charged against that person by any keeper or manager or inmate of a house or other place where prostitution is practiced or allowed, or who solicits or receives compensation for soliciting for the person, is guilty of pimping, a felony, and shall be punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for three, four, or six years.

Penal Code Section 266i(a)(1) – Pandering By Procuring (Felony)
Except as provided in subdivision (b), any person who does any of the following is guilty of pandering, a felony, and shall be punishable by imprisonment in the state prison for three, four, or six years:
(1) Procures another person for the purpose of prostitution.

Penal Code Section 29800(a)(1) – Possession of Firearm By a Felon (Felony)
Any person who has been convicted of a felony under the laws of the United States, the State of California, or any other state, government, or country, or of an offense enumerated in subdivision (a), (b), or (d) of Section 23515, or who is addicted to the use of any narcotic drug, and who owns, purchases, receives, or has in possession or under custody or control any firearm is guilty of a felony.
