The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has charged Kevin Dionicio Maldonado Davila (Age 28 of Rancho Cucamonga) with robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
CASE SYNOPSIS
On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at about 4 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department conducted a robbery investigation in and around the 9500 block of Hampshire Street in Rancho Cucamonga. Kevin Dionicio Maldonado Davila was arrested.
After reviewing this case, our office has charged Mr. Davila with violating the following sections of the California Penal Code:
Penal Code Section 211 – Robbery (Felony)
Robbery is the felonious taking of personal property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or fear.
Penal Code Section 245(a)(1) – Assault With A Deadly Weapon (Felony)
Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another with a deadly weapon or instrument other than a firearm shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment.
