The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has charged Gilbert Ruiz (Age 18 of San Bernardino) for murder in San Bernardino.
CASE SYNOPSIS
On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, officers from the San Bernardino Police Department responded to the 1000 block of North Wall Avenue in San Bernardino regarding a report of shots fired. During the investigation, Gilbert Ruiz was arrested.
After reviewing this case, our office has charged Mr. Ruiz for violating the following section of the California Penal Code:
Penal Code Section 187(a) – Murder (Felony)
Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being, or a fetus, with malice aforethought.
