The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has charged Brenda Estee Torres (Age 25 of Santa Ana) for possession of a firearm in Rancho Cucamonga.


CASE SYNOPSIS

On Thursday, January 14, 2021, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the intersection of Baseline Road and Forester Place in Rancho Cucamonga regarding a traffic hazard. During the investigation, Brenda Estee Torres was arrested.

After reviewing this case, our office has charged Ms. Torres for violating the following section of the California Penal Code:

Penal Code Section 30605(a) – Possession Of An Assault Weapon (Felony)
Any person who, within this state, possesses any assault weapon, except as provided in this chapter, shall be punished by imprisonment in a county jail for a period not exceeding one year, or by imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170.
