The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has charged Kingston Glass (Age 21 of San Bernardino) with robbery and evading a peace officer.

CASE SYNOPSIS

On Sunday, June 14, 2020, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 12000 Block of Bryant Street in Yucaipa, regarding a robbery investigation.

During the investigation, Kingston Glass was arrested by the deputies. After reviewing this case, our office is charging the following violations of the California Penal Code, against Glass:

Penal Code Section 211 – Robbery
Robbery is the felonious taking of personal property in the possession of another, from his person or immediate presence, and against his will, accomplished by means of force or fear.

Vehicle Code Section 2800.2(a) – Evading An Officer With Willful or Wanton Disregard For Safety
If a person flees or attempts to elude a pursuing peace officer in violation of Section 2800.1 and the pursued vehicle is driven in a willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property, the person driving the vehicle, upon conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison, or by confinement in the county jail for not less than six months nor more than one year. The court may also impose a fine of not less than one thousand dollars ($1,000) nor more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or may impose both that imprisonment or confinement and fine.
