SAN BERNARDINO Calif. – San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Antonio Heriberto Galindo, a former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Galindo (41) was arrested Tuesday Aug. 31, 2021, by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, and our office issued a no bail warrant and filed the following felony charges against Galindo;

One count of PC 288.3(a) – Contact with a minor for sexual offense, two counts of PC 289(h) – Sexual Penetration of a person under 18, one count of PC 287(b)(1) – Oral Copulation of a person under 18, and one count of PC 243(a) – Sexually Battery by Restraint.

If convicted, the above charges would require Galindo to register as a sex offender.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dept. currently has Galindo in custody. On Sept. 1, Galindo refused to be heard via video arraignment, and will be scheduled for an in-person arraignment at Rancho Cucamonga Superior Courthouse.
