CASE SYNOPSIS

In July, 2018 deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence in Rancho Cucamonga regarding a call of shots fired in the area. During the investigation, Drake Girard Petronzi and Alison Marie Jimenez were arrested.

Thanks to the diligent efforts of responding deputies, the medical staff at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, personnel at the San Bernardino County Department of Children and Family Services, Deputy District Attorney Morrissa Cardoza, and the foster family that later adopted this child, the little girl Mr. Petronzi and Ms. Jimenez abused now has hope for a healthy and happy life. I’m thrilled that this case has finally come to an end and justice has been served for sweet Payge and her loving adoptive family.  The sentence handed down today ensures that the defendant can never hurt Payge, or any other child, ever again!  Hopefully it also forces Mr. Petronzi to reflect on his actions and make many necessary changes in the future.
