As a Southern California native, Ally Taguchi is excited to be serving her community as a faithful and honorable attorney for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
Ally Taguchi was born and raised in Palos Verdes and is the first attorney in her family.
Deputy District Attorney Ally Taguchi was sworn in on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 by District Attorney Jason Anderson.
Passionate about her education, Ally graduated from the University of California Irvine in June of 2015 where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Literary Journalism. She then went on to Santa Clara University, School of Law where she received a Juris Doctorate degree in May of 2018.
A clerkship at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office after her first year of law school sparked Ally’s interest in becoming a prosecutor. She truly enjoyed being in the courtroom, upholding the law, and serving the community.
Ally went on to complete several clerkships at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, all of which further solidified her decision to become a Deputy District Attorney.
In 2019, Ally was hired by the Napa County District Attorney’s Office where she worked for nearly a year and a half on the misdemeanor team. Although she enjoyed serving the Napa community, she always dreamed of returning to Southern California to serve her community back home.
“Being a Deputy District Attorney provides me the opportunity to hold people accountable with regards to the law and serve the community. It is a job that I do not take lightly and is perhaps the best use of my license as an attorney.”
