With a high ethical standard and desire to ensure justice is served, Cole Clark is ready and excited to join the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
Cole Clark is a first-generation lawyer from a family with a long history of public service, most notably and extensively in law enforcement. His commitment to the bettering of his community coupled with his desire to advocate for the voiceless set him on the path of becoming a lawyer.
Deputy District Attorney Cole Clark was sworn in on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 by District Attorney Jason Anderson.
Cole received his Bachelor’s degree from Long Beach State University in Criminal Justice and Criminology. While in his undergraduate studies, Cole would often go to court to watch criminal proceedings due to his passion and love for the law. After interning at a private criminal defense firm, Cole attended the University of Irvine School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate.
For Cole, the highlight of his law school education was interning at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Hardcore Gang Unit and the Victim Impact Program. Also while in law school, Cole was able to serve his community by working in the Domestic Violence clinic, leading seminars on the law, and participating in pro bono whenever possible to further his advocacy skills.
“Courage, fortitude, and honesty. These are core values that every prosecutor should exhibit to ensure ethical prosecution, due process, and community safety. Working as a Deputy DA here is a dream come true because the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office epitomizes these values.”

After taking the bar exam Cole worked as a post-bar law clerk for the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office. His introduction to the Inland Empire was nothing short of welcoming. The camaraderie, the willingness of others to mentor, and the shared ideals of the office made San Bernardino his premier choice for his prosecutorial career.
Cole is both excited and proud to join his esteemed colleagues in furthering justice and safety in San Bernardino County.
