The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Rick Anthony Magana (Age 40 of Adelanto) for murder in Victorville.
CASE SYNOPSIS
On Sunday, February 21, 2021, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department responded to the Bombshells Bar & Grill in Victorville regarding a reported assault. During the investigation, Rick Anthony Magana was arrested.
After reviewing this case, our office has filed charges against Mr. Magana for violating the following sections of the California Penal Code:
Penal Code Section 187(a) – Murder (Felony)
Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being, or a fetus, with malice aforethought.
Penal Code Section 245(a)(1) – Assault With A Deadly Weapon (Felony)
Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another with a deadly weapon or instrument other than a firearm shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment.
