The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed a charge against Hesston Lee Howze (Age 29 of Highland) for assault with a deadly weapon in Highland.


CASE SYNOPSIS

On Saturday, November 28, 2020, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department went to the intersection of Del Rosa Drive and 4th Street in Highland regarding an assault investigation. During the investigation, Hesston Lee Howze was arrested.

After reviewing this case, our office charged Mr. Howze for violating the following section of the California Penal Code:

Penal Code Section 245(a)(1) – Assault With A Deadly Weapon (Felony)
Any person who commits an assault upon the person of another with a deadly weapon or instrument other than a firearm shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not exceeding one year, or by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or by both the fine and imprisonment.
