The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against Jacob Matthew Anderson (Age 27 of Apple Valley) with domestic violence and false imprisonment.


CASE SYNOPSIS

On Monday, August 17, 2020, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department initiated a domestic violence investigation which occurred in the 22000 block of Sioux Road in Apple Valley. On Friday, August 21, 2020, Jacob Matthew Anderson was arrested.

After reviewing this case, our office has filed the charges against Mr. Jacob Anderson, for violating the following sections of the California Penal Code:

Penal Code Section 273.5(a) – Domestic Violence (Felony)
Any person who willfully inflicts corporal injury resulting in a traumatic condition upon a victim described in subdivision (b) is guilty of a felony, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for two, three, or four years, or in a county jail for not more than one year, or by a fine of up to six thousand dollars ($6,000), or by both that fine and imprisonment.

Penal Code Section 236 – False Imprisonment (Felony)
False imprisonment is the unlawful violation of the personal liberty of another.
