The District Attorney Real Estate Fraud unit investigates and criminally prosecutes individuals and companies for fraudulent activity connected to real estate transactions. These include loan fraud, notary fraud, mortgage and loan modification fraud, identity theft in connection with real estate transactions, fraudulent transfers of property and financial elder abuse in real estate transactions.
